The post holder will work within the Blood Sciences Reception team, acting as a key link between Reception, the IT teams and the Pathology Engagement and Relationship Manager. They will be responsible for Blood Sciences data quality and by working with external customers; ensuring results are delivered quickly and to the correct location.

Main duties of the job

Use a wide range of effective and timely communication skills acting independently to explain, analyse and interpret information/data.

Modifying and adapting communication methods using persuasion and tact within delegated sphere of authority.

Maintain clinical records in relation to activities carried out; may input/interrogate test results of others.

Responsible for the setting up of new submitters in conjunction with the Beaker team and perform data entry and maintain clinical records.

Develop good working relationships with external stakeholders and work collaboratively with them, striving towards positive effects with change.

To work flexibly in reflection of service needs, this may include an extended working day or change of hours to reflect an early or late shift.
