Operations Administrator

Our local client has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Administrator to join a small but busy and friendly team in Tamworth.
We offer a competitive salary with 20 days holiday (pro-rata) plus Bank Holidays, death in service, private healthcare, optional pension scheme, and flexible working with working from home optional.
**Main duties**:
- Inputting delivery notes into Sage
- Purchasing of consumables
- Monitoring POs and chasing suppliers
- Preparing despatch notes
- Participation and management of stock counts
- Liaison between the warehouse and other functions concerning stock queries
- Inputting various data into prebuilt spreadsheets, for example, KPIs, Environmental data, PPE logging, Skills matrix updates
- Generating quotes for customers
- Generating commercial invoicing required for shipping purposes
- Liaison with the carrier to ensure timely collections and delivery dates are met
- Generating packing lists
- Mobilisation of technicians and materials and related logistics
- Clear, effective, and timely communication with technicians, suppliers, partners and customers
- Booking flights, hotels, and rental cars
- Booking of training for our technicians
- Chasing customers for returns and uplifts to orders
- Achieve company and personal objectives as set by the Operations manager
- Working within the process and, where appropriate, identifying areas for improvement
- Ensuring and maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to the H&S policy and reporting any issues that have arisen
- Utilising Sage 200 - SOPs, Stock management, invoicing
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Previous administration experience essential
- Excellent phone manner, confident and friendly customer liaison
- Professional attitude to problem-solving with a Can-do attitude
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Confidence with Excel spreadsheets and other technological interfaces such as PDF, word, google translate, Skype, Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- It would also be desirable if you could speak a language, but this is not essential

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
