Calderdale Council undertook a cross council review of enforcement and as a result implemented a holistic problem solving approach based on engagement, education and enforcement in order to deliver better outcomes for communities.

This approach brings together, under a single service lead, many of the Council services that include enforcement as part of their statutory and non-statutory duties.

Calderdale Council is looking for a highly motivated individual to work in a fast-paced team, working to strict deadlines and with the ability to work across professional boundaries.

You will be responsible for day-to-day support within the Enforcement Intelligence Team, assessing, tasking, investigating and delivering enforcement outcomes for Calderdale Council’s Community Protection Team and the wider Community Safety Partnership.

As part of the wider Community Protection Team, you will be working alongside officers who have responsibility for other elements of the new enforcement approach thus providing resilience and inter-operability across all enforcement activity within Calderdale Council.
