**About us**:
The SSW Business Partner is part of SSW and contributes to the work of the SSW Leadership Team. They liaise closely with students and colleagues in their allocated School, ensuring that students receive holistic and well-coordinated support. The SSW Business Partner works collaboratively with all SSW services, helps to resolve complex student cases and promotes the work of SSW across their School.

SSW is part of Student and Registry Services (SRS). Collectively, all parts of the division, are responsible for providing services to all students throughout their time at UCL and for supporting academic departments and administrative staff in delivering a high quality student experience.

We also play a key role in co-ordinating UCL's governance processes and academic quality assurance operations.

**About the role**:

- To be based within SSW and to work collaboratively with all SSW services and teams. To develop an excellent understanding of their work and priorities.
- To be part of the SSW Leadership Team and to attend relevant SSW and external meetings and training events.
- To manage the relationship between SSW and their School in relation to student health and wellbeing so that students receive holistic and well-coordinated support.
- Where appropriate, to be a named SSW contact for colleagues in the School in relation to student cases and queries.
- To lead on the Student Advisers programme for their School.

**About you**:
The Student Support and Wellbeing Business Partner reports to the Head of Student Support and Wellbeing (SSW), who is responsible for training and development and ensuring appropriate standards of performance and conduct. The post-holder works using their own initiative in a self-directed and proactive manner, referring complex problems or issues requiring policy decisions to their manager.
