**WHAT TO EXPECT**

Global Customer Care (GCC) is responsible for all things after the sale of the vehicle. Global Parts and Retailer-Fit Accessory Pricing is responsible for pricing all new vehicle parts into the global marketplace and the gross margin expectations thereof.

We ensure that parts pricing is a vital component in the competitive cost of ownership of a Land Rover and/or Jaguar vehicle whilst ensuring that revenue targets at JLR are met.
The department is responsible for the global delivery of the Parts and Accessory revenue stream budgeted for 2023/24 to be in excess of £2bn for both brands.

In support of the in-market network, the department undertakes tactical pricing initiatives, opportunistic activity as well as problem-solving in order to exceed our targets and deliver a brand reputation to be proud of.

The Senior Pricing Analyst is the guardian of a range of commodities and is responsible for all pricing matters relating to current and future parts in their commodity range. The role is a critical element in driving the business, being the product pricing interface to our Logistics service providers, Sales Operations, Product Development (PD), and other business functions. Specifically, the Senior Parts Pricing Specialist will:

- Set the pricing rules by which new vehicle parts are priced within their commodity range
- Build a strong, detailed knowledge of the commodity range and range specific events in a products lifecycle.
- Manage their commodity parts range pricing including forecasting volumes and mix.
- Interface with other Aftersales departments on product launch activities.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc, opportunistic projects to increase revenue.
- Pro-actively identify opportunities to increase revenue.
- Be able to forecast on changes proposed and report on changes implemented.

The current responsibility is for Service Parts. Filters, Brake Pads, Brake Discs etc. however the team covers all Part types.

Key Responsibilities:

- Pricing of all parts within the commodity range in line with JLR revenue/margin targets.
- Ensuring new parts are priced to hit market requirements
- Provide reports as requested on the commodity range
- Provide reports as requested by market
- Represent Revenue & Loyalty in business-wide discussions on the commodity range.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

As the Senior Pricing Specialist, you’ll need the following knowledge, skills and experience:

- Experience of working within a parts pricing function
- Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of supply chain activities and the interdependence of these activities.
- Must be motivated, energetic, possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to cope with a varied and sometimes pressurised workload with key weekly/monthly deadlines.
- Must be able to work with the minimum of supervision, within a high volume, quality driven, transactional environment.
- Must be able to work in a methodical and organised fashion, gathering and analysing data from many different source systems. - Must be computer literate, comfortable with technology, familiar with most office packages including Excel, Access and Powerpoint, able to understand and produce accurate status reports.
- Must be able to understand equations that relate the price of one component to another.
- Will have worked in a role requiring a high level of analysis.
- Have some financial/commercial experience, including the ability to construct a business case from detailed and varied inputs.
- Have an interest in automotive products
