Service Desk Administrator

Role Objective:
Assist in the day-to-day running and administration of the Applied Weighing site
and service department, reporting to the Service Desk Manager.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Liaising with the Service Desk Leader with regard to the following tasks;
- Ensuring Engineers have any parts required for their jobs
- Liasing with customers regarding job info and order number
- Liaising with production to provide answers to clients / engineers
- Processing of site reports into systems orders for checking
- Processing of orders into invoices and posting
- Ensuring all site documentation is tidy / filed and up to date
- Ensuring paperwork compliance with ISO9001:2018
- Ensuring system service schedules are correct
- Ensuring existing contract information is input onto spreadsheet format
- Ensuring engineers calibration equipment is up to date
- Service data entry on Pipedrive
- Assist with new business and contract sales
- Assist with quality and health and safety documentation
- Taking a pro-active approach, effective prioritising of all tasks, issues and
your responsibilities
Additional Requirements / Comments:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent organisation skills and common sense
- Fully computer literate (Windows XP / Word / Excel / Outlook)
- Assisting Service Desk Leader with other general office tasks
**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Quarterly bonus
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Reading, RG4 5AF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Technical support: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Office: 1 year (preferred)
