Severn Hospice, one of the region’s leading and much-loved charities, has a new and exciting opportunity for an information governance professional to join our team.

Being highly motivated, with a good working knowledge and training relevant to data protection law, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of information governance, records management and safeguarding service user data that enables us to deliver safe, compassionate and effective care.

As a well organised individual with an acute attention to detail you will manage the completion of the NHS Digital Data Security and Protection (DSP) Toolkit on an annual basis, lead on internal information governance audits and respond to requests for information. You will also own SharePoint as an information asset and ensure that it aligns with information governance best practice principles.

As an effective communicator with strong influencing skills, you will engage colleagues at all levels of the organisation championing and promoting a positive culture of data security.

Caring for people living with incurable illness across Shropshire, Telford &Wrekin and Mid Wales, Severn Hospice is a wonderfully rewarding place to work.
