**The Noah Academy seeks to address poverty by helping people to realise their full potential, through training and employment support.**

This Post holder will be the ‘front-of-house’ for all Noah short courses in their region. They will arrange courses, book tutors and venues, book clients onto courses, deal with student referrals from various partners, attend courses to meet tutor and students, set-up courses, and ensure information is recorded accurately.

They will need to be regularly at the venues across Bedford, supporting the tutor, preparing materials, and checking IT.

They will complete detailed administration for each course and student, such as registers and student surveys. Based in the office they will be answering the phone and door to prospective students.

They will maintain databases and records as required by the funders.
- Agree the venue and tutor for each course
- Book clients onto courses and advise them on which course would be suitable
- Create and update any schedules and registers to ensure accurate information is available at all times
- Meet the tutors at venues and help them set-up the course
- Advise the tutors on the requirements of the funder and any administration they need to complete
- Prepare registers, certificates and printing for the courses
- Provide day to day administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the courses
- Support in general office admin including ordering materials, archiving and photocopying
- Maintain individual learner records
- Support Manager with student inductions
- Maintain records required by commissioner, filing reports and information as required by given deadlines.
- Any other duties deemed appropriate by your line manager.
- Signpost clients to other NOAH services which may meet their needs

**Successful applicants will have**:

- Excellent customer services skills and confidence to engage with others professionally
- Experience within project management, ideally having run your own project or a part of a larger project
- Comfortable sharing feedback with tutors
- Experience working to deadlines
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team but also work under your own initiative.
- Good IT Skills including Word and Excel and ideally SharePoint
- Outgoing and confident - happy to answer the phone and chat to clients and tutors in person
- Act as a representative of NOAH Enterprise always and in a manner befitting the organisation
- Take a responsible approach to your personal development - manage and update own skills base to ensure quality service delivery and engage fully with all training offered
- Travel will be required across your region.
- The post holder may from time to time be asked to undertake other duties as specified by the line manager.
- All duties to be carried out in accordance with the policies and procedures of NOAH Enterprise, including the Equal Opportunities policy.
- Must have a Drivers License and access to car.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.92 per hour
