SikSilk is a British born, multi-site, rapidly expanding global fashion brand that draws inspiration from top athletes, celebrities, and influencers around the world.
Due to continued growth and success, we are currently recruiting for two Merchandising Administration Assistants to join our growing team. You will work closely with the Assistant Merchandiser, supporting the wider team to maximise product profitability through effective forecasting, sales analysis & stock management. You will help to ensure stock is in the right place at the right time to maximise availability & sell through whilst minimising markdown spend. You will play a pivotal part in providing weekly, seasonal & ad hoc reports & analyses to support decision making.
**Key Responsibilities of a **Merchandising Administration Assistant**
- Provide weekly reporting of current sales data, including summaries of all key performance indicators alongside line level detail across all categories
- Analyse sales data to allow for issues & trends to be identified
- Maintain reporting suites that facilitate greater consistency across the department
- Support the Assistant Merchandiser in providing accurate historical analysis at the required level
- Maintain a comprehensive library of historical data
- Support Buying counterparts in data collation to facilitate the construction of optimum ranges
- Keep a keen eye on product performance, supporting the Assistant Merchandiser in monitoring slow sellers & recognising best-sellers
- Ensure markdowns are live in the system & liaise with multi-channel teams to ensure visual merchandising is to our requirement
- Provide data & analysis from all promotional & markdown activity throughout the season
- Monitor stock movement in and out of the business, supporting the logistics team in actioning any changes required
- Manage internal stock transfers to ensure bulk & pick locations are optimised for all channels
- Collaboration with our Logistics team to ensure timely onboarding & arrival of stock into the business in time for product launches
- Collate all necessary buy information, including size breaks & inbound destinations, to allow for timely order placement
- Responsible for creation of all purchase orders in line with the business-critical path
- Support our multi-channel teams to ensure effective trading on their corresponding platforms
- Act as a key point of contact for third parties to ensure the data they receive allows for the effective disposal of terminal stock
- Manage any impromptu problems that may arise in the absence of the Assistant Merchandiser
- Act as a key contact for all Merchandising reporting, analysis & aspects of systems use
**Essential Skills of a Merchandising Administration Assistant**
- The capability to work well as part of a team with a wide range of people
- Ability to plan and prioritise
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening & presentation skills
**Requirements**:
- Previous working experience in Merchandising or Retail ideal
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including a high level of data manipulation
- Excellent IT literacy
- Relevant degree level qualification
**The role of a Merchandising Administration Assistant is a full-time permanent position.**
