We are looking for an Apprentice Coordinator to join our Apprentice Training Team based in Oxford.

AMTC’s vision to develop a training capability that embeds adaptable skills, knowledge and behaviours that future proof UK manufacturing.

Seeding the advanced manufacturing sector through the design, development and delivery of a range of education and training programmes from school engagement through to degree level is our core proposition.

The Apprentice Coordinator is required to deliver the operational coordination of our pioneering training programme.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Coordination of all on scheme apprentices, including completion of mandatory reviews (apprentices) meeting ESFA rulings and timeframes, regular communication, dealing with any issues apprentices may have.
- Supporting the health and safety of learners and facility through proactive leadership.
- Operational coordination and delivery of the OAS apprenticeship programme, including preparation of induction programmes.
- Maintaining and updating relevant communications tools, briefings and support material (including handbooks).
- Managing the Apprentice administration and data, including but not limited to - creation of new learner data and folders, input of learner review data and assessments, claiming certificates, updating learner systems in line with ESFA and MTC processes.
- Day-to-day management of apprentices including behavioural management, safeguarding, pastoral care and mentoring / coaching of all apprentices. Referring where required to support colleagues.
- Ensuring all activity and decisions taken support a drive to achieve a mínimal ‘good’ rating from any Ofsted inspection.

**Person Specification**
- Commercially aware
- Good numeracy skills: confident working with numbers and data
- Excellent presentation skills
- Previous experience and understanding of supporting Ofsted / ESFA audits
- Knowledge of carrying out regular performance development reviews with identified apprentices
- Keeping up to date with all the latest industry information
- Being aware of changes in apprenticeship scheme Understanding of key apprentice learning and government systems is highly advantageous.
- Experience working in the engineering sector is highly desirable.
