Sales Administrator

The Best Connection (Newcastle) are recruiting for an experienced **Sales Office Administrator** to work for our client based in Pelaw, Gateshead. Our client is a leading manufacturer of processed glass and strives to provide exceptional levels of service and the highest quality products to their customers.
**The Role**:
- Working with management, production and dispatch departments to communicate customer orders and ensure deliveries are correct and on time
- Accurately relaying new orders directly to the Production Manager and helping to manage production workload
- Use a wide range of office equipment, software tools and programmes such as Microsoft Outlook and Office to process high volume sales orders
- Processing card transactions and accurately maintaining payment records
- Admin experience working in a busy office is essential
- Must have strong numerical skills as the role requires accuracy and efficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to understand and communicate customer requirements
- Able to provide exceptional customer service
- Previous product knowledge would be advantageous, but not essential, as full system and product training will be given to the right person
**Hours + Pay**:
- Monday to Friday
- 09:00am - 17:00pm
- £13.04 per hour
- 35hrs per week standard
- One Saturday in four (8am - 11am) at enhanced rate
