If you have an interest in working in the mental health sector and making a positive difference, we have a fantastic opportunity to join a new team providing intensive support to a young lady with complex mental health needs. You will have the full support of a team leader who will be actively involved in the service and benefit from our extensive training and development. You will also have access to the MDT supporting our client as well as our in house clinical team to provide any additional advice and guidance you may need. Support will be on a 2 to 1 basis.

We are ideally looking for staff with some experience in mental health - either personally or professionally, with an endless amount of patience and high levels of emotional and psychological resilience. Some of the work will be challenging, but exceptionally rewarding as you see our client re-engaging with the local community and regaining their independence with your support.

We focus on recovery and support our clients in regaining independence and control over their own lives and making their own decisions.
- Due to the diagnosis of the client we are seeking a female only service, covered under the Equalities Act 2010, Part 7 Paragraph 26._

**Essential Skills**:

- Although we offer full training, there are some attributes that will better equip you to succeed in what can be an incredibly rewarding role._
- Resilience - able to persevere when faced with challenging or difficult situations/people.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing to go the extra mile for our clients.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.

**Desired Skills**:

- It would be desirable for you to have had experience of supporting a person(s) with a mental health condition or learning disabilities, within a community-based service.
- Experience of creating/writing care plans and risk assessments would be beneficial.
