Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Energy Management Administrator? Do you have experience working with utilities suppliers and possess excellent knowledge of energy consumption, costs, and tariffs? If so, we have an exciting temporary opportunity for you
Position: Energy Management Administrator
Client: Third-Party Public Sector
Location: Midlothian
Working Hours: 36 hours per week
Pay Rate: £15.36 per hour
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (combination of remote and on-site work)
Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months - possible extension (temporary position)
Main Duties:

- Utilise your working knowledge of utilities suppliers to handle and resolve payment queries efficiently.- Proficiently use Energy Management monitoring software to monitor and analyse energy consumption across our operational portfolio, consisting of 300 properties.- Perform continuous auditing and monitoring of energy consumption, costs, and tariffs to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.- Review and approve expenditure for authorization and payment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial procedures.- Process utilities invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring prompt payment and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.- Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and provide energy-related reports and analysis.- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel, and Teams to carry out daily administrative tasks effectively.Key Skills:

- Demonstrated working knowledge of utilities suppliers, payment queries, and experience in managing energy consumption and costs.- Familiarity with Energy Management monitoring software to effectively monitor and analyse energy consumption patterns.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate data management and financial processing.- Ability to efficiently review and approve expenditure, adhering to financial protocols.- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Teams to carry out administrative tasks and generate reports.- Ideally familiar with Systems Link, the Energy Management software database used by our organization.- Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders effectively.
