Finished Products Assistant
Role Description
To proactively monitor quality and be responsible for the finished products operations within the Cold End.

**Key responsibilities of the role will include**:

- Promote Health, Safety & Wellbeing of employees within the department.
- Monitoring the departments performance and address quality issues by providing technical support
- Oversee and support the Job change co-ordinator to settle down job changes to minimise inspection equipment loses whilst giving packed ware quality assurance.
- Ensure relevant quality information is recorded.
- Chair meetings and be prepared to represent the department in operational meetings.
- Be a contact for internal customers, working with Customer Services responding to queries & complaints efficiently.
- Work with the Production team to improve quality performance of containers with a Continuous Improvement approach.
- Liaise with wider business (Group quality / OEG / Sales/Planning etc) as required.

Required Skills/Qualifications
- The ability to lead, manage and develop teams and people.
- The commitment to demonstrate Ardagh Leadership Behaviours & be a champion of the Company Core Values
- Understanding and able to comply with legislation and company procedures.
- First class communication skills, personal drive and have a flexible nature & perform with confidence.
- The capacity to be well organised, meet deadlines and can prioritise.
- The initiative to drive a continuous improvement culture within the department.
- A strong technical background, in the Finished products department
- Knowledge of glass manufacture processes
- Green belt trained or willing to work towards
- Management/supervisory qualification or willing to work towards
