CNC Operator

**CNC Operator - WF11 0JU - Full time, permanent - £17 to £22 per hour**

Due to company growth we are looking for both CNC Millers and CNC Turners to join a family run business specialising in medium to heavy engineering services. Operating out of an organised, well established workshop with modern machinery and on-site gym facilities, the company have been going for over 35 years and are offering an exciting opportunity for CNC Operators to join their growing team

**The role and responsibilities;**
- Setting, operating and programming CNC milling and/or turning machines
- Programming Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls
- Engineering one-off components
- Have quality awareness and a keen eye for detail
- Turning metals to high tolerances
- Operating lathe/haas machines
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and geometric tolerances
- Good punctuality and housekeeping skills
- Checking and inspecting parts

**Experience required;**
- Experience of working with castings, forgings, alloy and stainless steels
- Working up to 900mm in diameter and 3 metres in length
- Apprentice trained
- CAM software knowledge would be beneficial
- Conversant with modern machining methods
- Experience in live tool turning would be beneficial
