**About the job**:
We are now looking to appoint a People Advisor who will provide a front-facing HR service to employees, applicants, workers, managers and the leadership of ETF to ensure compliance with employment legislation, to facilitate change and enable managers to make robust and timely decisions on people management matters.

**Your profile**:
The role will report into the People Business Partner and will be responsible for undertaking the range of people management advisory services for the complete employee lifecycle, representing the full functions of the People and Workplace Department to their key internal clients (ie represent pay and reward, learning and development, etc) and also disseminate information gained from their internal clients to team members as appropriate, and the provision of advice to line managers to support effective leadership, high performance, employee relations, selection and recruitment, pay and reward and support for local management initiatives.
- In accordance with CIPD requirements, be educated to degree level or equivalent, together with a post-graduate qualification (may be initially part-qualified as part of an ongoing professional course) and corresponding level of CIPD membership.
- Demonstrable experience of having provided a range of employee lifecycle services.
- Ability to lead discussions on complex employment issues and interpret professional and legal guidance.
- Ability to reassure and inspire confidence in colleagues, internal clients, applicants, employees and external contacts.
- Excellent written and verbal reasoning skills to be able to write, interpret and advise on policies and procedures, contracts and other people management documentation.
- Accurate numeracy skills to a level of being able to interpret management data and provide advice on matters such as maternity pay.
