**Andrew Simpson Centres Portsmouth are delighted to be recruiting for an energetic Sales and Marketing Officer to join their team.**

Over 30,000 individuals are now participating at our multi-site not-for-profit centres which are continuing to be developed year on year.

This Portsmouth based role is currently the only one of this nature in our portfolio due to the not-for-profit Centre’s exciting growth strategy. Through this brand-new opportunity, you will play a key part in driving sales and the Portsmouth centre forward through a local sales and marketing plan and contribute to making a real impact to transforming lives through sailing.

This role will focus on proactive income generation and maximising growth streams, through proactive local networking, running events and relationship building. You will drive the Centres Marketing Strategy forward, reflecting the diverse offering of the Centre and its activities. This will include developing an all-encompassing marketing plan for their exciting new residential offering, starting summer 2023. You will need to be highly collaborative, proactive and keen to learn whilst bringing new ideas to the table to spark interest and drive sales.

You will be responsible for managing the customer journey from start to finish, working closely with the central marketing, fund-raising teams and partners to maximise their engagement. Importantly playing an active role in all aspects of business development, marketing initiatives, sales, communications and running local events.

With a relevant business development or marketing related degree and/or 3 years plus experience in a commercial sales and marketing environment. You will need to be creative in your approach and ideas and help to bring marketing strategies to life, however you will have the support of the wider marketing, digital and design teams to raise brand awareness and create campaigns.

The role is currently an approximate split of 70% sales and 30% marketing focused.

Experience of managing people and their activities would be an advantage.
