This role is responsible for providing commercial support to a growing portfolio of projects from Pre-contract initial opportunity to contract completion. The individual is responsible for all aspects of commercial support including processing customer contracts, support to Business Development and the Project Management function, and for the following activities:

Duties:

Be the point of contact for and assist in the preparation of standard commercial documents, such as Confidentiality Agreements and NDAs and tracking their progress.Ensure that the commercial and contractual issues in all sales proposals have been assessed and reviewed.Ensure that the terms and conditions of the proposal submitted to the customer, and/or the contract as subsequently agreed after negotiation, reflect the basis on which the decision to enter into the contract was made, as part of formal order acceptance.Involvement in company bids as required.Manage all Contractual Amendments and changes including:NamingScanningLoggingFiling of Commercial DocumentsMaintain accurate records of agreements internally and manages the acquisition of signatures and ensure final copies are filed.Supports as necessary on ad-hoc commercial matters such as export licensing and governance.Provide support to the Operations Director as required.Provide support to Supply Chain when required.Assisting members of the Project Teams, Bid Team and Supply Chain with any research and activities for specific projects.

Qualifications Required:

Postgraduate in Business or LegalIACCM or CIPS

Experience required:

Proficient user of MS Word and Excel and can use spreadsheets to show and read financial information.Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Proactive, professional and responsive to customer/team needs.Able to quickly build good working relationships with internal and external customers.Deliver own tasks to time quality and cost.Ability to prioritiseContributes ideas to the team and supports ideas from others.Complies fully with business governance requirements and processes.A high level of attention to detail.Flexible and able to work within a dynamic small team environment.Ability to liaise and present as needed to senior management and key clients.Willing to occasionally travel both in the UK and overseas.
