Hours per week:
**30 to 37.5 hours per week**

Pay Rate**: Approximately £392.70 per day PAYE**

Our client is looking to hire an Associate Director of All Age NHS Continuing Health Care for approximately 4 months.

**Summary**:
The post holder will act as a senior representative and ambassador of the ICB and must demonstrate high standard behaviours commensurate with a senior leader, upholding the Nolan principles at all times whilst providing overall strategic leadership to plan, commission and deliver the NHS All Age Continuing Health Care (NHS CHC) service.

The Associate Director of All Age NHS Continuing Health Care is accountable for leading a multi professional team to achieve high quality, safe and personalised care; ensuring the team have the key capabilities and capacity to deliver improved outcomes for our population

The post holder will ensure that the NHS CHC Team are making the best use of resources and improving equity so we make a marked difference in the inequalities in outcomes we have in our population.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that there are robust and collaboratively developed and delivered local policies and protocols based on best practice and evidence to provide a responsive and timely equity of access and robust decision making.

Key to this is the development and delivery of integrated commissioning strategies through the development and maintenance of effective system partnerships. These relationships will be built on integrity and trust to enable integrated system working and providing best use of shared resources.

The post holder will have a key role in leading efficient and effective business processes as well as demonstrating expert technical and analytical capability to deliver key quality, performance and financial indicators, working in a matrix way with other teams across the ICB.

The post holder will participate in the ICBs On Call rota as required and will undertake any other duties requested as appropriate to the role.

- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to communicate on highly complex matters and difficult situations
- Ability to provide and receive, convey and present highly complex, sensitive and/or contentious information to large groups, responding openly to questions to ensure full understanding and engagement
- Ability to communicate with clinical, academic and all levels of workforce effectively
- Strong ability to build relations with internal and external partners which are critical in securing the strategic objectives of the business.

**Analytical**
- High level analytical skills and the ability to draw qualitative and quantitative data from a wide range of sources and present in a clear concise manner
- Ability to analyse numerical and written data, assess options and draw appropriate conclusions
- High level critical thinking skills
- Ability to develop, maintain and monitor information systems to support innovation initiatives
- Demonstrates sound judgement in the absence of clear guidelines or precedent, seeking advice as necessary from more senior management when appropriate
- Significant experience of identifying and interpreting international and national policy.

**Management Skills**
- Experience of delivering long-term strategic plans and being able to alter plans to fit with the rapidly changing environment.
- Extensive experience of managing highly complex programmes and delivering them within agreed timescales and budgets
- Ability to develop, maintain and monitor information systems to support innovation initiatives.
- Significant experience of researching best practice and developing solutions that can achieve optimal outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work on own initiative and organise workload, allocating work as necessary, working to tight and often changing deadlines.
- Ability to make decisions autonomously, when required, on difficult issues
