We are looking for a Customer Service Adviser to help us grow our business. We specialise in outdoor furniture and products relating to the garden.
We are a seasonal business so our work really does vary. Part of the job will be to handle our returns to ensure customers issues are dealt with.
We believe in really good customer service, so it's important you have a positive attitude with handling customers questions and ensure their queries are handled correctly. We are a small team so we do need you to be able to use your own initiative. You must be able to speak to customers confidently on the phone. You must have a good memory to remember our different work processes.
From April to August we can be busy. Between September and March it is much quieter for us which means there is a flexible work schedule and shorter working hours.
There are possible contracts.
You can work on a temporary 6 month contract at £12 per hour. This will end in August. Work April - August. 4-5 hours per day Monday to Friday
Or permanent position on a salary of 10k per year. Mid March - Mid Sept. 4-5 hours per day. Monday to Friday. The other half of the year is 2-3 hours per day, 3 days per week.
**Customer Service Adviser Responsibilities**
- Handling calls relating to sales and customer service
- Deal with customers returns/exchanges/ refunds
- Advising customers about our products and take orders over the phone
- Offer excellent customer service to our customers.
- Able to use a Windows PC and be good at data entry
- Able to use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Handle customers returns, check customers returns and organise replacements
- To do some warehouse work, because you will have handle the returns.
**Customer Service Adviser Requirements**
- Be able to respond to customers in a friendly and positive manner.
- Able to work well within a team
- At least 1 Year of customer service relating experience
- Can work under pressure
- Good work ethic & be able to use own initiative
- Good oral & written communication skills
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 10-25 per week
**Salary**: Up to £12.00 per hour
