**WHAT TO EXPECT**
We are keen to appoint a talented Process Quality Auditor (known internally as a Process Quality Engineer) to add value to the team responsible for leading on internal audits across our Powertrain Propulsion function. This is an opportunity to work in a project led environment where you can take accountability for your own projects. You'll get to work with some of the most innovative technology in the automotive industry and see an investment in your personal and professional growth.
**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- You'll get to maintain and develop the Propulsion Engineering Quality Management System (QMS), along with Propulsion Engineering Process and Procedures.
- You'll get to ensure departmental procedures get adhered through the use of your effective engagement, persuasion and influencing skills, and you get to identify opportunities for improvement You'll be accountable for delivering small scale projects and process improvements and supporting large scale improvement along with driving business excellence
- Lead improvement projects as well as transformational workstreams (for example, agile implementation, documentation and records management)
- Additionally, you will create and report departmental process performance metrics as required and plan and coordinate delivery of specific workstreams to ensure that all the teams are compliant with own internal JLR processes and IATF 16949 requirements relevant to them.
**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**
- You have IAFT 16949 Systems knowledge, with ISO9001, ISO 14001 systems knowledge being desirable
- You-ll have effective project management capabilities and experience of developing procedures and process documentation (ideally in an engineering environment but not essentially)
- You-ll have experience developing and implementing Quality Management Systems and Quality audits process and knowledge of Failure Mode Analysis tools
- Finally, we are keen to find someone who is a natural structured problem solver, people influencer with excellent engagement and persuasion skills to bring alignment to process, practices and working standards
