As Quality Specialist you’ll provide quality knowledge and support to the implementation and ongoing management of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System for NGET, whilst developing a culture of quality, continual improvement, and quality focus throughout the organisation.

You’ll visit substations and project sites collaborating with Project Supervisors and SHEQ managers to provide specialist technical quality advice and training on Integrated Management System (IMS) policies, procedures, and best practices. Fostering a culture of quality and continual improvement, you’ll identify and lead on quality and business improvement initiatives whilst promoting employee engagement.

You’ll support quality top management review and produce regular quality data analysis and reporting to enable decision making and ensure we’re adhering to IMS policies and procedures in line with industry standards.

You’ll conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of the IMS in line with the internal audit plan and investigate and help resolve non-conformities ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are implemented promptly.

We’re flexible on base location but you’ll need to be able to travel to sites throughout England and Wales. There will also be a requirement for you to travel to our offices in Warwick once a month.

**What you'll need**:
With practical experience and expert knowledge of implementing ISO quality management systems in complex organisations, you’ll be highly analytical and proficient with reporting tools and have experience of management system auditing.

With the ability to lead continual improvement initiatives from cradle to grave, you’ll have an ISO9001 auditor qualification.

Effective communication and problem-solving skills, coupled with a strong attention to detail and highly analytical skills are also essential.
