Job title - PMO Specialist

**Location**: Warwick
- Hybrid basis 2 days pw in office (Thurs is anchor day)
- Remote - considered if you live too far, but you’ll need to be able to go in from time to time

**Contract length**: 6 months

**Start**: ASAP

**Rate**: c. £20 - £25ph PAYE - Inside IR35

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a PMO Specialist to join a leading company which specialises in energy technology.

You’ll be working in the Project Management office, doing mini projects.
To oversee the governance and management of tools for the project execution team.
The role is dealing with the Project Managers, covering various portfolios, different frames they have projects with.

**The Role**:
**Responsibilities**:
Provides expertise and guidance on Project Excellence at SE framework and AGT specific process
Acts as single point of contact for project management certification within AGT and project management competency requirements
Ensures project compliance of the processes to ensure all projects conform to the standard provided
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement of project management process and procedures to ensure the most efficient and effective management of projects.
Creating and implementing departmental communications to ensure high quality information regarding Project Customer Quality initiatives, and knowledge sharing.

Provide support and guidance to PM community

Project Management Certification

Monitor and maintain the Project Management Competency Matrix in conjunction with Heads of Projects to ensure all Project Managers are either certified or working towards respective certification
Support the organisation of PM training for various initiatives (including Bitesize learning sessions).

Process Governance

Ensure adherence to process by undertaking regular checks of procedures, project documentation and respective Project Management tools eg; OnePM
Monitor and maintain the Project Compliance Matrix
Provide reporting on project compliance with action plans for non-compliant projects to work in conjunction with respective Project Manager to closure of issue
Review relevant processes and procedures on a regular basis to identify any improvement requirements in conjunction with the portfolios, functions, and regions in order to simplify and harmonise

Communications

Liaison and creation of articles covering various activities/initiatives and updates for distribution to AGT PM community.
Ensure distribution lists are up-to-date
Work with team and other stakeholders for variety of articles/information for publication on a month basis (minimum).
Ensure PCQ social media channel is up-to-date and regular updates/information is posted
Organisation of an “Open Door Session” - session for PCQ team to provide overview of what they do for the Warwick office.
Organisation of Bitesize learning sessions throughout the year - work with other team members for content, etc.

**Key Skills and experience required**:
Well experienced within a PMO setting
Previous experience of working on projects and with project teams
Understand what the workstream is, what the process is, document that and get it into place
Understanding the methodologies and how projects work
Used to working to a PM Standard, a PM framework
Be capable of facilitating improvements
Used to working with Project Managers and other stakeholders
Experience of working with stakeholders to understand what workstream is, what process is, document that and getting it into place
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to have more in depth communications, delving deeper by asking questions
Experienced in using Word and Excel to a good standard
You will need to be very well organised
