**Finance Assistant - Immediate Start Available**
The opportunity has arisen for a temporary part time Finance Assistant with an independent Care Home Provider based in Cramlington, Northumberland. The role is for an initial term of 3 months, with the possibility to be extended or to be made permanent. The role is available for immediate start.
£13 per hour
This role is office based.
You will be supporting the Finance Manager in the running of a small but fast paced, finance department.
Your duties would include, but are not limited to:
Perform day to day financial transactions on Sage 50, including:
- Importing of the weekly fees onto Sage
- Posting of supplier invoices onto Sage
- Dealing with supplier/customer queries
- Posting petty cash ledgers
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare weekly supplier payment runs, for approval by the Finance Manager, produce and send remittances.
- Ensuring customer & supplier accounts are kept up to date
- Completion of the weekly fee claims for submission to the local authority,
- Liaise with home administrators ensuring information is up to date
- Ad hoc duties as required
**Requirements**:
- Excellent working knowledge of Sage 50 and Excel required.
- Excellent numerical, verbal and written communication skills
- Must display good attention to detail and accuracy with data inputting
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Proactive approach to daily work
- Previous experience of working within an accounts / finance department is essential.
- Previous experience of working in a care home provider would be advantageous, but not essential.

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
