Our client based in Cramlington are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a permanent basis. You will be part of an incredibly friendly and supportive finance team, and a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process and maintain purchase ledger transactions accurately and efficiently
- Match purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and process payment runs
- Assist with month-end procedures and reporting
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding queries

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger role essential
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

**Benefits**:
