We are one of the largest Expert Witness Consultancies in the UK. Our main function is to provide Expert Witnesses and professional reports for medico-legal purposes.
We are a brand leader in providing Expert Witness services for clinical negligence and personal injury litigation, as well as other areas of dispute involving health or disability issues including family matters, criminal cases, tribunal, coroners court and professional regulation issues.

**Location**:
The Administration Assistant role is office based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. Please note - there is no remote or hybrid working for this role.
Chesham is easily accessed by car, bus and London Underground (Metropolitan line).
**About the vacancy**:
Working pattern:
Full-time / permanent (Monday to Friday) 37.5 hours a week
Hours: 9am to 5.30pm (including 1 hour lunch break)
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide our clients with a high quality and positive experience at the first point of contact.
- Be a primary contact for all telecommunications into the office. This involves screening telephone calls, identifying the caller in accordance with company policy and transferring the call appropriately.
- Provide front of house service (answering the door and welcoming visitors).
- Data processing i.e. scanning and processing hard copy and electronic documentation onto our bespoke database.
- Ensure the storage and destruction of evidence in accordance with company policy and GDPR
All staff are part of the Somek team and may be asked to assist any other team members when required.
