**The opportunity**

As an Optimus Cards Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our card holders’ queries or issues. You will work within a fast-paced environment, handling a high volume of customer contacts via multiple channels. You will take responsibility for finding solutions and always do so in a friendly, customer-focussed way, seeking to enhance each customer’s perception of our business.

You will be confident, outgoing and energetic and be able to use your excellent communication skills to build relationships with customers and offer an unrivalled service. You’ll do this by delivering a professional experience with every interaction, ensuring you treat customers fairly and always deliver on your promises and show integrity. It doesn’t stop there; at Optimus we all muck in, so to be successful, you will love being part of a team of unique colleagues, who aim to deliver positive customer outcomes, each and every time.

We’re a regulated business, so ensuring that procedures are followed whilst meeting high service standards and regulatory requirements, is a must. You’ll also be responsible for the timely completion of daily tasks and the accurate processing of transactions and customer instructions.

It goes without saying you’ll need to be flexible, as we operate our customer service department 8am to 8pm seven days a week. You will work up to one in three weekends and a mixture of early and late shifts (8am to 4:30pm and 11:30am to 8pm). TBC

**Location**

Once trained and able to demonstrate confidence, this role is hybrid with flexibility to work from home and our Birmingham office, or such other place as the Company may reasonably require on a temporary or permanent basis.

**Shift hours**

20 hours 5 days 5pm to 9pm. Full home working once fully trained.
