We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Assistant to join a well-established business based in Hereford, contributing to the continued success of the organisation and over great opportunity to progress.
Reporting to the Business Support and Compliance Director, the HR Assistant will be responsible for various administrative tasks that uphold compliance with sector regulations and maintain confidentiality.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work efficiently to meet strict targets and deadlines.
- Assist in training new team members when required.
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager to process and log payroll information and adjustments.
- Support in reviewing and updating policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate staff records within Personnel files.
- Assist in the recruitment and inductions of new employees.
- Handle correspondence related to external requirements.
- Coordinate with management on staff holidays, updating the holiday spreadsheet, including lieu time and unpaid leave.
- Prepare internal meeting documentation when necessary.
- Support in meeting compliance requirements.
- Log, record, and maintain staff training in line with the training matrix.
- Ensure completion of annual, quarterly, and monthly tasks.
- Conduct 'desk checks' with office-based staff members.
- Provide backup for Reception duties when required.
- Schedule meetings on behalf of management and assist in preparing meeting agendas.
- Review and align staff job descriptions with their roles.
- Update and maintain HR-related guidance.

**Qualifications & Training**:
GCSE English and Maths
CIPD Level 3 (preferred)
