We are excited to recruit our first internal Talent Acquisition Partner at Insite Energy You’ll play a pivotal role in sourcing, selecting, and onboarding top talent and building out a consistent and effective selection process across the company. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you’ll have the freedom to design and deliver the future talent acquisition approach for the company, helping Insite Energy to fulfil its recruitment needs, whether for replacement hires, skill enhancements, or strategic growth.

**Responsibilities**

We anticipate that the role will oversee the hiring activities for around 25-30 roles per annum across our field based and office based teams. You’ll be responsible for:
- **Collaboration**: Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.- **Market Research**: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor analysis to advise on market-related insights for recruitment. Assist with role pay benchmarking exercises.
- **Records Management, Metrics and Reporting**: Make recommendations on applicant tracking software (Workable and Indeed currently used). Implement new data recording and maintain recruitment data, track key performance indicators, and provide regular reports to management on the status of ongoing recruitment initiatives.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with UK recruitment and data protection legislation, equal opportunity regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
- **Onboarding**: Carrying out on-boarding with all new starters including overseeing detailed pre-employment checks and delivering new staff inductions and making sure the team are ready to give the new hire a warm welcome. You’ll also co-own the probation management process and new joiner experience for all new recruits in collaboration with the broader People & Culture team.
- **Talent Acquisition Projects**: During quieter recruiting periods we would love your input into other strategic talent projects. For example, planning the launch of a new small-scale apprenticeship/graduate programme - including building relationships with relevant partner institutions, designing the development journey and collaborating with the people and culture team to build check-in review processes.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**:

- At least 3 years’ recruitment experience at least 1 year of which should be in-house.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
- Adept at sourcing and attracting talent through various channels.
- Experience of talent acquisition within hybrid workforces e.g., some field-workers (engineers), some home-workers and some office-workers (e.g. customer service agents).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- Capable of monitoring and advancing talent acquisition KPIs.
- Experience of driving recruitment best practice and innovative techniques to source top talent in competitive markets or into niche roles.
- Tenacious and resilient with a strong focus on results.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and independently manage several concurrent vacancies.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, with a “no job too big or too small” attitude.
- Discreet and professional at all times.

**Preferred**:

- Knowledge of or experience in the utilities industry is a plus but not required.
- CIPD or HR certification is advantageous.
- Experience in coaching hiring managers in effective resourcing techniques / interviewing skills
- Graduate and Apprentice/Internship recruitment campaign management experience.
- Experience in talent management, succession planning and development, delivering manager training around.
