WHAT TO EXPECT:
Global Parts Operations is responsible for the logistics part of the worldwide JLR Global Customer Care division. This includes the strategy, planning, release, pricing, revenue generation and availability of service parts & accessories for the Global Jaguar and Land Rover network.
Being part of the Global Supply Team, you will play a key role in offering administrative support and assistance to ensure the smooth day to day running of the department. You will be working closely with the Planning Team and other internal stakeholders across the business.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is more than a standard administration role and offers the challenge of speaking to Suppliers and Stakeholders. Working with the Material Planner, the Supplier, JLR Customs and Operations, you-ll assist in the coordination and preparation of documentation to process material being returned to Suppliers. You will obtain quotations from our nominated priority freight providers and seek internal authorisation for sign off, and work with Suppliers and Operations to ensure stillage returns to suppliers.
Other responsibilities include:
- Supersession 'alerts'. Support processing supersession alerts through Alert Monitor in SNC (Supplier Network Collaboration) portal.
- Shut Down 'alerts'. Support processing supplier shut down dates through Alert Monitor in SNC (Supplier Network Collaboration) portal.
- Global Top 10 reporting. Collate and publish weekly report for Global Top 10 back order parts.
- Aged ASN's. Work with Inbound and Transport teams to report status of aged ASN's.
This is a hybrid role with an expectation of 2-3 days in the office. The team work together, and cohesively to support our Material planners and suppliers.

WHAT YOU-LL NEED:
We are looking for someone who is personable, who has the ability to forge excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders (Purchasing, Operations, Customs, Inventory Managers and Parts Technical), 3PL-s and external Suppliers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- To be diligent and pay attention to detail
- To manage any timebound tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Be well organised with a process orientated mind-set with great attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
