**Salary**: £12.50 per hour

**Overview**: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Office Administrator (Part time) on behalf of one of our clients.

This role would suit an individual looking to work part time, to suit school hours or for a school leaver wanting to establish themselves within an office environment. This is stable opportunity where you can develop your skills at a well-established company. The role is working Monday - Friday, 4 hours per day (20 hrs per week) - this is negotiable.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To achieve an effective administration of a range of systems and procedures as determined by Depot Manager, Operations Director and Head Office Management.
- Assist in the administration office to operate the Company’s’ financial reporting system within the policies and procedures laid down and as amended from time to time.
- Maintain an effective administration backup to ensure there is the necessary skills and flexibility to cover for holidays or sickness.
- To ensure that staff are not exposed to any hazards that may jeopardise their health and safety at work and to assist with regular Risk Assessments.
- To assist in maintaining and wherever possible increasing the efficiency of all aspects of the office function.
- To be responsible for the maintenance of accurate records from the computer system.
- To introduce and maintain a clean and tidy working environment within the office.
- This position is a vital support role in the Depot and will include the under mentioned specific areas that must be focused on.
- Produce good and accurate office information on time.
- Maintaining the Depot Ledger and advising the Depot Manager of outstanding accounts and changes in payment trends.
- To compile a stock analysis from the Depot stocks takes sheets and advise Depot Manager of variations.
- To assist in all other aspects of the office operation. i.e. Banking, transport, petty cash, stationery purchase, security, advising wages department of sickness, overtime, holidays and absence of employees.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- A competent and self-confident person who will be motivated to achieve and maintain the high and efficient standards required.
- Experience within logistics would be beneficial.
- Previous experience in a similar role (essential).
- Full clean driving licence.
- Competent user of MS Office products, particularly Word and Excel.
- Exceptional time keeping and scheduling abilities.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From £12.50 per hour
