We are a fast paced, vibrant office based in Portsmouth. A medium sized business based in Portsmouth dealing with transport of vehicles, primarily coordinating trade plate drivers for delivery of commercial and trade vehicles. We have an exciting opportunity for a new member to join our small but busy transport office.

**Job Type / Category**

**Primary duties include**:

- Assisting the Transport Manager with administration, communication and customer liaison.
- Job booking and administration from creation to completion.
- Transport administration.
- Driver queries and assistance.
- Real time issues, for example arranging breakdown recovery.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Experience within Transport industry and knowledge of transport regulation desirable.
- Knowledge of UK road system or ability to learn quickly.
- Highly motivated, organised and resilient.
- Can demonstrate a high level of customer service skills.
- Ability to deal with stressful situations and make quick decisions in problem solving.
- Ability to take control and manage drivers when needed.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and working with an online portal system
- Familiarity with Apple Mac and OSX operating systems.
- Creative thinker.
