Events Marketing Manager

Our client is seeking an innovative and bright events marketer who can take ownership of our entire events portfolio. We have ambitious growth plans for this portfolio over the next 2 years and you will have the opportunity to grow with it. The role is wellsuited to a results-driven events marketer looking to take responsibility at a strategic level, and offers great potential for career development as our events grow.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will take on the marketing of all our events, which currently includes our flagship conference and exhibition PAY360, The PAY360 Awards ceremony, the Financial Crime 360 conference, our monthly meetups and alongsidethe Content Marketer, a series of Insights webinars - driving delegate sales and leads for the sponsorship sales team. You will be solely in charge of the events you manage, from setting the strategy, creating the marketing plans, to delivery of them, withthe support of a Marketing Executive.
**_Roles & responsibilities_**
- Creating, managing and implementing yearly event marketing and communications plans
- Management reporting and analysis - using this analysis to drive strategic decisions both annually and in-campaign
- Management of the Marketing Executive
- Working alongside the Content Marketer to drive strategies for lead generation
- Industry profiling and data gap analysis - creating data research plans with an emphasis on lead generation for sponsorship, delegate and membership sales
- Leading event team meetings
- Building relationships with media partners - both for events and for the association
- Managing relationships with event sponsors and ensuring contract fulfilment
- Liaising with external agencies - PR, designers, data researchers
- CRM management
- Website management
**_What you will need:_**
- Proven work experience as an events marketer (ideally within the finance sector). 2 years minimum.
- Proficient in English with strong communications and writing skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office, WordPress and CRM software (ideally Hubspot).
- Expertise in social media platforms - primarily LinkedIn & Twitter.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, (Google Adwords, Tag Manager and UTM preferable)
- Project management skills and ability to use one's own initiative and to prioritise tasks.
- Degree in Marketing, CIM qualifications or similar (preferable).
