We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our Finance team, based at our Kirkcaldy site. The role is being offered on a fixed term contract basis working Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week.

The main duties of the role include:

- Entering invoices into our financial management system and matching them to purchase orders where relevant.
- Liaise with colleagues at all levels to ensure that purchase orders have been receipted and invoices are paid within the outlined contractual terms by carrying out regular payment runs.
- Ensuring any relevant documentation is attached to relevant invoices in the system.
- Work proactively to ensure queries are resolved quickly.
- Ensure supplier statements are reconciled on a timely basis.
- Opening new accounts as and when required.
- Work in line with the Company’s month end finance procedures.
- Take responsibility for accurately and proactively maintaining all Purchase Ledger filing, both paper and electronic.
