**Hotel Guest Service Agent**

**General Description**

The Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming, and efficient service to all hotel guests, in line with the hotel’s vision and values on customer satisfaction. The main purposes of the hotel Guest Service Agents are to respond courteously to guests’ requests, play a part in the general operation of the Hotel Reception and Food & Beverage areas.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- To undertake front of house duties, including meeting, greeting, and attending to the needs of guests, to ensure a superb customer service experience in bedrooms and Food & Beverage outlets.
- To deal with guest requests to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay in rooms and or Food & Beverage outlets.
- To assist in dealing with customer complaints in an effective and courteous manner, providing or seeking solutions as quickly as possible.
- To be responsible for accurate and efficient guest billing processes.
- Processing meal and beverage requests and serve food and drink orders to guests.
- To administer all routes of reservations for rooms and Food & Beverage and to ensure that bookings are made and recorded accurately.
- To ensure that all reservations and cancellations in rooms and Food and Beverage are processed efficiently.
- To keep up to date with prices and special offers to provide accurate information to guests for rooms and Food & Beverage.
- To report any maintenance, breakage or cleanliness problems to the relevant manager.
- Being a source of information to guests on various matters such as restaurant advice and room information.
- Coordinate with other departments such as Housekeeping, Kitchen, Bar, Restaurant to ensure that hotel services are provided to the best in guest satisfaction.
- Be able to perform all ideal services checklists AM and PM.
- Complete a daily shift audit and balance all account settlements and charges.
- Compute bills, collect payments.
- To undertake any other duties directed by the Managers (bedrooms, bar and restaurant work).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.85-£11.00 per hour
