Quality Lead

The primary job purpose is to support the Head of Quality and Commissioning in the local development and implementation of the HEE National Quality Framework by effectively managing the Learning and Development Agreements, contracts with education providers and associated resources
By acting as a fully integrated member of the Quality and Commissioning Team you will ensure that patient safety and quality of training are priorities for all work. Supporting the overall management, development and organisation of the Regions quality management, improvement, healthcare education commissioning and performance management programme aligned to the priorities set out within the HEE Mandate.
This post is also part of the Quality, Patient Safety and Commissioning Management Team and holds specific responsibilities resulting from this.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and conscientious manager to develop and support the delivery of high profile workstreams across HEE and wider stakeholders, to successfully implement and refine HEE’s Quality Framework and commissioning activities.
There are a number of key workstreams to deliver in the next 12 months to ensure HEE can maximise the benefit for driving multi-professional quality improvement in education and training through the full implementation of the new Quality Framework. The post holder will have a broad portfolio working with senior colleagues across HEE and developing collaborative relationships with our key partners and stakeholders at national level including Professional Regulators, NHS England, CQC and NHS Improvement.
The role will include regional and national travel and require an innovative, motivated and organised manager who can drive forward the programme at scale and pace working with key leads across the educational system.

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 8a with a full-time starting salary of £48,526, with a pay step increase after 5 years’ service.
