The Older Peoples and Community Directorate are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, experienced Quality Matron. Responsible to the Associate Director of Nursing and Quality, this new post is is being introduced to the Directorate, to make positive changes for the benefit of our service users and staff. This post is open to Nurses and AHP's.
Main duties of the job
The Quality Matron will deliver compassionate leadership in relation to quality standards within the Directorate, supporting the achievement of compliance and assurance against the framework which focuses on risk management and a strong professional oversight of Governance activities which are pivotal to the quality and safety of our services to support good clinical outcomes and patient and staff experience.
Strong links will be made with the Nursing, Quality & AHP department, Directorate Heads of Nursing and Practice Development Leads to ensure performance is maintained and to develop strategies to continuously improve patient safety and quality of care.
You will be confident in your clinical knowledge, and as a strong leader you must be a positive role model with the ability to facilitate change and motivate others to continually improve.
