They create licenced products for household names like Warner Brothers, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, Penguin (Peter Rabbit & The Snowman) and The Original Stormtrooper and are stocked in some prestigious department stores like Fortnum and Mason and John Lewis.

On offer is an extremely exciting opportunity for the right individual, to collaborate directly with the E-Commerce Director in developing strategies for **social media.**

You will be working for fast growing creative brand in the **greeting cards** industry, who also create licenced products for household names like Warner Brothers, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, Penguin (Peter Rabbit & The Snowman) and The Original Stormtrooper.

This role is for you if you live and breathe content, scrolling for the latest inspiration and trends and finding fun ways to adapt these trends for our business. You’re a proactive visual storyteller who lives in the creative suite.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leverage your own understanding of current social media trends to **make recommendations on how to improve Cardology’s brand awareness and following** on Social Media platforms
- **Conceptualise, plan, film, edit and caption** interesting and engaging **social media video content**, relevant to our followers and **optimised **for the social media platforms we are reaching them on (Instagram Reels, Facebook and Tik Tok)
- Working directly with the E-Commerce director and Social Media Manager to put together and keep up to date, an **extensive quarterly marketing plan** for all licenced content that will need to be submitted to Licensors to gain approval before publishing.
- Actively partake in **communicating & engaging with our customers** & wider community across our social media channels daily - including professionally and appropriately responding to negative comments too.
- Research the latest social media trends across the different social platforms & look for ways to use them in our content.
- **Analysing social media statistics** to provide recommendations for further content creation that works for our brand.

**Requirements**:

- Previous Social Media Content Creator experience (minimum 1 year)
- Experience across different platforms. (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook etc).
- Full understanding of Marketing strategies, i.e how to filter, tag, hash tag etc) and write engaging captions for posts and scripts for videos.
- Ability to conceptualise, shoot on phone & edit video content for a variety of briefs.
- Must be comfortable in front of the camera and recording voiceovers on the content you create.
- You must be comfortable using photo and video editing tools such as (but limited to) Adobe Premier Rush, CapCut, or even the native social media editing features on individual platforms and Canva
