**Marketing Intern at OPW Global**

**Summary**

This is an exciting opportunity for a student to undertake a 12-month placement with OPW Global’s EMEA Marketing team. Based in Skipton, this lean, agile team is focused on lead generation and is responsible for driving sustained double-digit year-on-year growth for OPW brands in myriad industries including data centres, transport, infrastructure, stadia and renewable energy through highly targeted digital Marketing campaigns.

This position offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in a highly specialised industry with a well-established company and be a part of creating and implementing OPW’s content-led Marketing campaigns.

We are seeking a creative, self-motivated, proactive individual with strong communication skills to join our team. Throughout the placement, you will assist in the implementation and analysis of targeted direct Marketing strategies and campaigns which will maintain the brands’ high profiles online, drive online traffic to our websites and deliver a consistent stream of targeted new enquiries to our sales divisions.

You will have knowledge of the digital and social media space, a clear strategic sense of how the digital environment is evolving and an appreciation of its role in integrated Marketing communications.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Supporting the creation and implementation of lead-generation campaigns including research, content creation, content distribution and analysis of results
- Liaise closely with the EMEA sales team to handle inbound sales enquiries
- Report on and analyse performance of campaigns, customer touchpoints, competitors, and markets using tools such as Salesforce, Google Analytics and SEMrush
- Social media Marketing
- Monitoring and reporting on effectiveness and recommending refinements
- Producing and distributing corporate and distributor communications
- Internal updates on new Marketing content and campaigns

**Key Requirements**
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- High degree of spoken and written English
- Ability to analyse performance data against goals, identify key insights and propose changes
- Be able to work independently and demonstrate initiative, as well as operate effectively as part of a team
- Results driven
- Interpersonal skills
- Thorough and diligent with an excellent eye for detail

**Location Details**

The office for this hybrid role is located in Skipton (the ‘gateway to the Yorkshire Dales’). Co-located with one of OPW’s EMEA manufacturing plants, it offers a chance to learn the full Sales and Manufacturing process. The induction for this role also includes time in all departments, both in the factory and office.
