Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Broughton's Laboratory Services. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market share
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business development decisions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share
  • Strong relationships-building and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Scientific background and knowledge of the nicotine or pharmaceutical markets is preferred
