Detailed Job Description Scanning of referral letters, results, emails and other correspondence to the appropriate trust systems Retrieval of referrals and clinicians notes from the above scanning systems To provide admin support across the departments (Respiratory, Cardiology, Diabetes) by printing work-lists off the Trust Systems Joint team working to ensure workloads across the department/Business group are prioritised and up to date Process referrals on the Patient Administration System Answer general telephone enquiries and direct enquiries to the appropriate staff or department so they can be resolved Sort and distribute incoming post and emails to the relevant teams Prepare out-going mail ensuring all patient correspondence has the appropriate paperwork enclosed in the envelope Covering the reception areas across the directorate group as appropriate Quality data entry for Respiratory, Cardiology and Diabetes (PRISM and PAS) Take responsibility for patients and callers in terms of problem solving and general enquires Dealing with general enquiries from patients, relatives and other departments Participate in local team brief Data entry on to the PAS/PRISM and all Trust systems Accessing and printing off daily worksheets from Trust systems Ensuring accurate and up to date information is input onto PAS at all times To ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
