Bank Administrator Band 3

Assignments could potentially be anywhere from Tower Hamlets, Newham or Hackney so we are looking for applicants from all over London. A willingness to travel to travel to a variety of bases is beneficial.

Being employed on the Bank is a great way to gain experience and exposure to the NHS. You will be temporarily covering administration posts in teams, wards and departments in a mental health and community services settings to provide cover for planned and unplanned shortfalls in administration staffing.

If successful at interview you will be employed by the Trust and contacted when a shift or role needs to be covered. This can be for a shift/session, a day, a week or perhaps more. Sometimes shifts can arise at short notice. You will be paid by the Trust on a weekly basis.

The majority of our Bank staff go on to secure permanent posts with the Trust.

To provide an effective administrative support to Managers, Officers and clinical staff within
the teams.

To work closely with the Lead Administrators to provide an efficient and responsive
administrative provision to the teams ensuring service delivery is met.

To be responsible for taking ownership and contributing to the development of administration
systems for the Service; by providing day to day administrative support.

The post requires the ability to work on own initiative and to liaise effectively with a broad
range of professionals and to maintain client confidentiality.To work alongside and to cover all Administrative areas, when required and requested and
to cover other administration staff across several locations as and when the
need arises.

To cover reception areas as a core part of your responsibility.
