This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments over the year. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you'll work with the Business Support Officer as well as supporting the Ranger based at Brancaster.
What you'll be doing:As part of our facilities management team, you'll be carrying out and arrange maintenance and repairs, help with waste management and work to keep our places presentable and safe. Specific tasks will include emergency repairs (such as unblocking toilets, fixing doors), pre-planned maintenance (non-urgent repairs, upgrading facilities) and compliance checks (e.g. fire-alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, work place inspections). You will also cover some of the Area Ranger’s duties when they are not working. Tasks will include litter picking, emptying dog bins and assisting with coastal safety tasks.
