This is an incredible opportunity for a talented and experienced project delivery professional to join our fantastic and dynamic organisation as we support our campuses in Kings Lynn, Wisbech and Cambridge. You will be joining us at an exciting time, with a focus on improving the facilities at all of our sites.
What’s more, this is a newly reviewed role, giving you the chance to make your mark, not just on the job but, on the future image of CWA to our communities. You will plan, lead, co-ordinate and manage building projects, contractors, contracts, property services and building management information at all college properties. Whether you are fully qualified or have ample experience in construction project management, what matters most to us is your enthusiasm, your ability to bring your vision to life and a passion for learning.
We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving student services team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
CWA boasts the largest educational building in the region, which has recently benefitted from a £10 million investment as well as a £5.8 million technology centre at its Kings Lynn site alone. We are continuing to invest in each of our sites, with Wisbech receiving investment in excess of £12million, and more works planned in across the organisation utilising the £1million grant from the Strategic Development fund, a government initiative for further education providers to support changes in local teaching and training facilities and provision to better meet the needs of employers, support local innovation and economic growth and develop a more efficient overall delivery infrastructure.
We offer an excellent package including a generous annual leave allowance of 30 days per year for support staff,** plus** five College closure days (pro-rata for part-time), **plus **Bank Holidays fee waivers on some College courses, a contributory pension scheme with the Local Government Pension Scheme (current employer contribution is 22.2%), discounts with local businesses and access to a cycle to work scheme. CWA focusses on staff well-being and utilises both internal and external resources, such as a well-being committee and access to a free and confidential Employee Assistance Programme as well as comprehensive training and development.
