**Job summary**:
They must be willing to assist the consultant and department in providing the best possible care to our patients and service users in line with our trust values and mission statement. We are looking for someone ideally with working knowledge and experience of managing surgical waiting lists and the RTT pathway; excellent touch-typing skills, good knowledge of medical terminology, someone who is a team player but has the initiative to complete their individual tasks in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:
Good General Education (e.g. GCSE English and Maths A-C) GCSE Level 9-4
- Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment

**Experience**:
**Essential**:
Experience of dealing with the Public/Customer service experience
- Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Word,Excel and Outlook)
- Experience of using IT systems
- Knowledge and experience of 18wk RTT pathway

**Desirable**:
Experience of working in a busy environment
- Experience of working in Healthcare
- Experience of managing surgical waiting lists

**Additional Criteria**:
