Customer Software Support Officer

Astute Data Systems Ltd, a 25-year established company, is looking for a new Software Support Officer for their health and medical software products PracticePal and iCareWEB.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Keeping a log of Support issues and monitoring their progress
- Troubleshooting issues and identifying software faults
- Giving advice to customers on how to resolve their issues or providing step-by-step instructions
- Providing training, where necessary, to customers to use the software more effectively
- Updating the Knowledge base and publishing notifications to customers, as well as various in-house documentation
- Regularly updating social media for both products
- Supporting the technical team when new versions or updates are ready by performing software testing
- Maintaining CRM and VOIP systems
- Providing online demonstrations of the software to potential customers

**Requirements**:

- You will be expected to rapidly gain a very good knowledge of both products to deal with customers' queries efficiently and accurately
- You will possess extremely good telephone manners and writing skills to communicate in a polite and professional way with our customers and other third-party organisations
- You will be organised, proactive, and able to prioritise tasks
- You will be able to work on your own and within a team

**Experience**:

- Experience in Software Support
- Extremely good telephone manners
- Strong IT skills
- Initiative
- Ability to communicate at all levels.

Full training will be provided for you to gain product knowledge, but some experience in Customer Software Support is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £16,000.00-£18,000.00 per year
