The company has offices in Leeds, London, Liverpool, Newcastle and Birmingham with a close-knit team of Chartered Surveyors and Planners. Our services are provided to other businesses (house-builders and developers) and Councils; and it is our aim to provide the highest levels of service.

**Requirements**:
The company requires an **Admin and Marketing Assistant** that can become a key part of the admin team and help to support the business. The role involves working directly with the Office Manager and senior Directors.

**Person Specification**

We are looking for someone who:

- will be working primarily to support the Office Manager and the senior leadership team. This will require good communication and team working skills
- has excellent communication skills (verbal and written), both externally with clients (confident on the telephone) and internally with the Directors and wider team
- has the ability to work with a wide range of people and as part of a team. You will be working in a small business and hence you must be a team player to ensure that ‘_things get done’_
- has the ability to multi task and be organised with good attention to detail
- is tactful, courteous and discreet with information where needed (handling commercially sensitive and confidential information)
- is happy working in an office environment
- has strong MS Office skills, especially Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. We anticipate that you will have good English and Maths academic qualifications
- is flexible, confident, enthusiastic, positive, outgoing and charismatic individual - with a ‘can-do’ attitude and positive outlook.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

Your main duties and responsibility are in respect of marketing and business development; project-based work to support the business; and to provide admin cover for the office manager. You will report to the Office Manager.

It would be helpful if you have a knowledge of the property / development / housebuilding industry - but not essential. Training will be provided where necessary in all respects.

**1. Marketing and Business Development**

In terms of marketing and business development (BD), projects include:

- maintaining and developing our website and social media presence to ensure our digital presence is continually updated
- maintaining our marketing collateral, which includes the preparation of digital posts, creating of collateral and liaising with designers where needed. Also maintaining case studies and capability statements to assist with tendering as well as formatting and creation of reports and CV templates etc
- maintaining the client relationship management system and creating mailing lists and managing marketing campaigns.
- organising internal team away-days and events and client receptions/events etc.
- supporting the preparation of tenders and proposals, including, registration and maintenance of tender portals, management of deadlines and co-ordination of inputs working with colleagues to co-ordinated responses.
- ensuring that the company uses the most appropriate tools and channels to maximise the opportunities available for the promotion of the business.

**2. Project Based Business Support**

This could be working on various ‘task and finish’ projects, to support the Directors, such as:

- managing the graduate intake programme including milk-round; sifting/shortlisting; coordinating recruitment day / interviews; and on-boarding new recruits
- coordinating office moves including premises searches; co-ordination of viewings; initial negotiations; managing utilities and moving date
- ICT support including procuring and configuring new laptops and equipment, testing and rolling out to (new) employees; server upgrades; assisting cloud-migration etc. Liaising with our IT Support technicians and Sage, Argus, CoStar software suppliers
- assisting with the review and monitoring of the company’s QA and compliance including arranging QA audits/reviews; renewing CHAS health and safety certification; and renewing ISO14001 environmental management certification

**3. Cover and Support for the Office Manager**

Your role will also involve providing cover and support for the office manager during holidays or periods of sickness. This could involve:

- Downloading tenders and setting up new Spec projects
