The Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) is the professional body and authoritative voice for the Cyber professional community. We are a Membership organisation that supports Information Security and Cyber Security professionals to develop their career pathways. **Who we are looking for**:
We are looking for somebody who has a passion for marketing and communications to develop and lead our member-focused marketing services to support our individual and corporate members and manage marketing campaigns to support membership acquisition, retention, and engagement activities. You would be joining CIISec at an exciting point in our growth and the role requires somebody who is a go-getter, has a flair for creativity, is enthusiastic and most of all, will enjoy being part of a small energetic team in a vibrant and stimulating environment.

We are a growing Membership organisation representing over 100 FTSE 100 companies, over 30 leading UK universities and 35,000 cyber professionals, so being a front-facing individual is imperative. You will help develop the brand, increase the value we offer to our members and ultimately grow our membership base.

You will be happy working alone and within the core CIISec team and will be self-motivated and comfortable representing the CIISec brand at industry events.

**Key responsibilities**:

- To develop and maintain effective member-focused marketing services to support our individual and corporate members; manage marketing campaigns to support membership acquisition, retention, and engagement activities.
- To deliver a multi-channel content and communications strategy that raises the profile of CIISec as the voice of the information security sector, delivered through thought-leadership content, member engagement, and revenue-generating sponsored content.
- To manage an agreed programme of events (both online and face-to-face) that deliver networking and education opportunities for members, acquisition opportunities, and present brand awareness and positioning advantages for CIISec.
- To be proactive and have the skills to create engaging content across multiple platforms to drive and engage membership, promote CIISec and its activities.
- Collaborate with internal CIISec colleagues to develop and execute strategies and plans.
- Specific activity focus areas include campaign management, communications, event management, data and reporting and strategic partnerships.
- Staying up to date with industry trends.

**Skills and experience**:

- Proven experience in a marketing manager role, or similar.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel to industry events and client sites as needed.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 suite
- Comfortable working in a small organisation
- Good time management skills
- Confident and articulate
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is typically required.
- Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification or membership highly desirable.

**Additional notes**

This role is office based with some opportunity for hybrid/home working. We use Microsoft Teams for our internal communication, and for remote meetings, conference calls and for web based training sessions. The Institute is closed at weekends and on bank and public holidays.

Holiday entitlement of 25 days paid holiday (over a calendar year), which includes bank and public holidays). Additional paid time-off over Xmas/New Year period (calendar permitting).

You must be eligible for achieving UK Security Clearance within six months - sponsored by CIISec.

A valid UK driving license and transport such as a car (or a scooter or similar) is essential for our "hybrid" working environment (for office-based meetings and for attending occasional events). We are based in Offenham (Evesham) - which would suit someone living in the Pers
