Harris Healthcare are recruiting for an International Sales Support Specialist to join the team. This permanent position can be performed remotely in the UK.

In performing this position, you will be responsible for delivering product expertise, for supporting client site visits, for walkthrough workflow assessments, for assisting with tender responses, and for presenting solution value and benefits through scripted demonstrations and responses to proposal requests. Your efforts will have an impact on the Healthcare industry Now is an exciting time to become a member of the Harris Healthcare International Team

Your core duties and responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

- Delivering product expertise to the Sales Department through pre-sales consultative engagements.
- Assists in the completion of Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal by providing detailed product feature/function and technology information.
- Represent company at trade association meetings to demo and promote products.
- Represent the Sales Department by providing feature and function expertise to Product Management and Product Development departments.
- Actively participate in development of new messaging, “scripting”, and talking points for product demos, presentations, value propositions, etc.
- Actively gather competitive intelligence data in the field, at prospect sites, trade shows and industry events.
- Tender monitoring (identifying new opportunities via tender websites)
- Assist with interpretation of competitive data, and development of communication plans to field sales.
- Keep up to date regarding on-going changes and trends in the healthcare industry that may affect the positioning of Harris Healthcare solutions.
- Assist with closing moderately complex and somewhat difficult to close sales in a team environment.
- Assist with whitespace identification and opportunity creation
- Actively identify areas for process improvements, and get involved in implementation of improvements
- Marketing activities as required

Background and experience:

- Excellent communication & presentation skills required
- Problem resolution skills and strong initiative
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Prior Sales or sales support experience
- 2-3 years Healthcare or clinical IT experience preferred
- Experience in marketing would be useful
- Experience in applicable clinical environment preferred
- Experience in Healthcare Information Systems industry preferred.

Work is performed in a normal office setting with mínimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer.

Travel is required when performing this position and will be determined by client and business requirements.
