SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Location: British Columbia or Alberta
Reports to: Sales Director
*Please note, one role available; posted in both Calgary and Surrey area.
SUMMARY
Netagen is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a passion for staying updated on the latest technology trends. In this role, you will provide essential support to our sales team, assist with sales administration tasks, and continually expand your knowledge of technology solutions and industry developments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Service Excellence: Be a self-starter with superior customer service skills, ensuring that client inquiries and requests are handled promptly and professionally.
- Quotation Preparation: Prepare standard client quotations using the CRM, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with Large Quotations: Support Account Managers by assisting in the preparation of large quotations, including importing Bills of Materials (BOMs) into the CRM
- RFQ Management: Complete Request for Quote (RFQ) submissions and quotes under the guidance of the Sales Director.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain registration on vendor websites and complete Deal Registrations for Account Managers. Interface with vendor and distributor inside sales teams to obtain quotations for client quotes.
- Sales Funnel & Forecasting: Assist the Account Managers and Sales Directors in updating the weekly sales funnel and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data.
- Sales Booking Packages: Receive and review sales booking packages to ensure accuracy and inclusion of all necessary documentation for a smooth order process.
- Sales Process Support: Act as resource to Account Managers for questions regarding the sales process, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Vendor Webinars & Events: Attend vendor webinars and industry events to further technical knowledge and stay updated on emerging technologies and solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Maintain an interest in continually learning new technology, business trends, and developments.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- University or College degree in business administration
- 3 years' experience working in a technology firm.
- 3 years of sales support or inside sales experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Comfortable in participating in group meetings.
- Solid understanding of business principles
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral in English, Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain both internal and external relationships.
